LAST DAY OF BEDA

Hey internet.
I would love this to be an epic post, but sadly, i am currently working on homework.
Today i went to classes, i'm quite excited about them.
since i've been here the food and such has been good.
I don't know what else to say.
bye internet

Beda day 30: first day of classes

Today was my first day of classes.
I had Speech and Sociology.
The speech teacher was pretty cool, a little absent minded at time but still fairly awesome.
My Sociology teacher was a little hard to understand because he's natively from Nigeria, but he seemed pretty cool as well.
Tomorrow I have Biology and Psychology. I am pretty excited for those classes.
I don't have to get ready until 11:30 but i'm getting up at seven and then having breakfast at around 8 or 9 with one of my friends.

29 August 2010

BEDA Day 29th: Night before classes

Today was pretty fun.
This morning around nine, I woke up and got dressed and such and went outside to read Animal Farm.
Not long after i started reading, one of the security men asked me what class I was reading it for and was surprised when I told him I was reading it just because.
After that I went to brunch and then to the worship service just to see what it was like, it was pretty cool.
Today I spent most of my time with a girl named Madison and her friends. For the most part we just went to the required sessions, ate, and sat in her room watching informercials. Her room makes an awesome place to hang out because she has a double room but is the only one living there.
With Madison, i spent time with some of her friends from her high school and her boyfriend.
Other than that, my day's been pretty well normal.
Tomorrow classes start. from 8-8:50 i have Speech and from 9-9:50 have Sociology.
Looking forward for the classes, not so much about the waking up.

BEDA say 28: omg fail

I failed beda-ing.
it's now not the 28th anymore, but we'll pretend it is.
I spent today doing assigned freshmen things.
Part of the day was spent watching the football game where we won 28-0.
I also just spent time around campus.
Today, as in later I went to hang out in the lounge area that is the basement of my housing.
While there, i successfully didn't make friends other than people trying to get me to know Jesus. So much fun /sarcasm.
Not much else.

27 August 2010

Beda Day 27: College life begins

First day at college.
So far awesome.
So far i have:
Made new friend.
Had tea.
Figured the internet out.
Awkwardly flirt with people.
Determined I don't care for my roommate.

Not much else happening.
Expect a vlog of sorts in the marrow, but no promises.

26 August 2010

Beda day 26: short post

Tomorrow I leave.
Today I spent time with my friend Mitch, his girlfriend Sara, and later my friend Hannah.
I am currently epically stressed and cannot wait to get away from home.
No promises on a proper update in the next few days.

24 August 2010

BEDA Day 24: Today's Happening

Today was actually kind of fun once I got over people I really didn't care for and their being in my home.
The Gay Straight Alliance from my high school had a past graduate from the high school I went to talk about how his life was growing up in this town, and things that happened to him after he got out of the state.
His talk had most of us in tears for sadness and in laughter.
The speaker was quite cool. He was really nice and pretty much down to earth.
He is now currently borrowing my copy of the movie "Milk".

23 August 2010

Beda Day 23: Totally did not almost forget about this

Happy day 23.
Interesting things to note about today.
1. I did not leave the safety of my house once today
2. I woke up at ten thirty in attempts to fix my sleep habits
3. I am around 3 percent closer to being finished packing for college
4. I failed at writing a proper blog post

I need to do more with my life

22 August 2010

BEDA Day 22: Lists of such

Things I am looking forward to about college:
1. Freedom
2. New people
3. New experiences
4. No English classes
5. Potential people to be in like with
6. Being away from home

Things I am not looking forward to about college:
1. Being poor
2. Having to make new friends
3. Having to fix my sleep schedule
4. Putting up with people
5. Having a roommate

Things I need to do before I leave:
1. Finish packing clothing
2. Buy an Ethernet Cable
3. Make an attempt to fix my sleep schedule

THAT IS ALL

21 August 2010

BEDA Day 21: A proper post.

The last few days have been pretty epic.
Last night i had a bonfire. And by bonfire i mean i had some friends over and we played apples to apples and ate belgian waffles.
Afterwards, i got online and did not a lot for three hours.
By not a lot, i mean joined in on a call on skype with fellow nerdfighters and played a game called nutsy bolts online with them, this game is identical to apples to apples, so in theory i spent most of the night playing apples to apples. It was pretty fun :3.
Today I went for coffee at noon with some friends.
We spent most of the time at the coffee shop watching this cute little ginger baby be a baby.
After we left there, we (some surprise) went to one of the parks and loitered for a few hours while we watched a small child's birthday party happen.
After that, we went to hang out at Walmart, but we avoided staying there too long because we tend to get in to trouble when loitering there.
We then headed to another store to loiter in.

This is where I conclude my post.
Listening to: skype chat with nerdfighters
On the TV: Wizards of Waverly Place

Beda Day 20: quick update of not too much

Hello.
Today I get my hair cut and i'm having a bonfire.
It' may be suckish because it might storm which makes me sad.
This update isn't' going to go on any longer because I am too lazy and in all honesty, don't feel like it anymore today.
have a great day

BEDA DAY 19: things and stuff

Hello blog readers, if you actually exist.

Yesterday, i did the lazy thing and didn't post a proper blog, big surprise, no?
Yesterday was an usually productive day. I woke up around 11, wiped down my sister's fridge (i'd been using it for bonfires), emptied the dishwasher, went to the chiropractor and for acupuncture, and went to a movie and dairy queen with friends.

the first two things on that list are really not worth talking about.
I was kind of sad at the chiropractor due to the fact it was my last visit before college.
My back is currently re-aligned, witch is pretty amazing.
I also got acupuncture, it was pretty awesome as usual. I fell asleep with the needles in me, randomly got the sensation that i was falling, flinched, and then realized i shouldn't move much more because i had needles in me.

After that, i went to see Despicable Me with a few friends.
I'd already seen the movie while i was in Nebraska but i'd promised a friend i would watch it with him.
It was just as good and cute as the first time i saw it.
Afterwards, my friends and I went to Dairy Queen. As usual, i got a blizzard and toast.
The toast at Dairy Queen is one of the most bad ass things in the world.

Today, I didn't get up until two in the afternoon.
Now it's 3:45 and I've already helped my sister and mom pack the car for my sister's moving in for college today.

At this moment, I'm the only one at the house. My mom and sister have left to bring my sister's stuff to her dorm.
In a few hours, we (being my dad and i) are going to go to Hannah's house to get eggs for my bonfire tomorrow night. Why eggs? because my mom's making Belgian waffles in honor of it being my last bonfire.

After my dad and I get eggs, we are going out to eat, most likely for Chinese.

Tomorrow, I am forsure getting my hair chopped.
Hopefully it'll look super cute.
You can view a before picture of my hair here.

tomorrow I shall update my dailybooth with an after picture tomorrow :3

17 August 2010

Beda Day Seventeen: 10 days

OMG internet, ten days until i move to Des Moines.
At this current time, i am excited.

Today I spent time with Hannah. I went to work with her at the creepy doll museum which means i spent a few hours typing up museum labels.
I am pretty excited, if we find time, my mom is going to take me to get my hair chopped.
I want many inches off of it because I've had it below shoulder length for ages and now I am tired of it.

I currently have all of my clothing sorted out, my next mission is to decide what i want to take to college and not.
I have an epic amount of clothing, which means it will take me hours.

Crappy blog length/ending ftw.

16 August 2010

BEDA Day sixteen: Time with Hannah

Today was fairly uneventful.
I went to bed around four in the morning.
I woke up around ten.
At around five or something I went to Hannah's house.
So far, we have had dinner, listened to Rent, and talk about stuff and things.
Tomorrow I get to go to work with her.
It shall be a blast.
Not much else to report.
Yes, i realize how much my blogs are failing.

15 August 2010

BEDA Day 15: half way done

Hi.
Today I came home from Nebraska.
I slept most of the way.
Now I am sitting behind my computer and watching tv.
Not much else interesting happened today.

BEDA Day fourteen: today's happenings

Much like all the others days I have been here, i got up and ten and didn't do much for the most part.
At around four Megan, Sarah, and I went to the pool. We were there for about three hours. It was pretty fun. I am now showered, pretty exhausted, and very hungry.
In a few hours, three-four my parentals will be getting here.
We are leaving sometime tomorrow.
I am really going to miss it here.
The independence I've had has been amazing.
I cannot wait until college starts.
My mood about that will change by the time it gets closer to me moving.

I really don't feel like blogging anymore.
Type at you tomorrow.

13 August 2010

BEDA Day 13: OMFG PLZ SAVE MY BRAIN

Sorry about the excessive caps in the title.
Current music playing is Jonas Brothers.
Kill me. Now.

Anyway.
My day.
Today my friends ensured I didn't end up in eighties movie hell.
To do so, we watched Sixteen Candles and the Breakfast Club.
Both are amazing movies, it crazy that I haven't seen them before now.
Watching Breakfast Club made me really want to watch Dead Poets Society, and wanting to watch that made me want to watch Hair and wanting to watch Hair made me want to watch Fame. My brain works in weird ways.
What is sad, is neither Sarah or Megan had seen Dead Poets Society, Hair, or Fame. What has today's generation come to?!?

Before we watched the movies, we decided to go to Sarah's school so she could find her locker and where all of her classes are.
Her school was reasonably sized, but population enrollment wise it was about the same as the number at my school.
The school is in Springfield, Ne, which is funny because on the posters for The Simpsons Movie, that's where it says the movie was filmed.

The music has been turned off.
Thank Gods.

Tomorrow my parental come here, if they can get here that is, some of the roads they have to drive on to get to Megan's house are apparently flooded.
After my parents get here, I will stay one more night and leave for home sometime on Sunday.
I'm going to miss it here.

Days until Des Moines: 14
Days until classes: 17
Days until next bonfire: 7
Days until home: 2

12 August 2010

BEDA Day 12: Taco Bell Fails

Hello.
Like most days in Nebraska, I spent today not doing much.
Around two in the afternoon, Megan, Sarah, and I went to Taco Bell to get some chicken tacos for Sarah's mom.
It was hell.
It took around ten minutes for us to get our order taken, 20 for us to get our order, and another fifteen for them to get our order correct.
By the end of our stay at the restaurant, we, being me, were telling people to leave instead of waiting around in that hell.
Out of this ordeal, we did get three free cinnamon twists, so that's a plus.

After we finally got the tacos to Sarah's mom, we went into her basement and watched backwards videos on her Wii. They were some of the funniest things I have every seen.

Over the past week, i have fallen in love with Owl City.
Which is crazy, because I hate mainstream music. But he (owl city is one guy, Adam Young) is freaking amazing, reminds me of a mixture of Luke Conrad and Motion City Soundtrack.

Not much else to say.

11 August 2010

BEDA Day Eleven: Today and such

Today was quite fun.
I woke up at ten.
While I was asleep, Megan went to a job interview.
We spent some time at Sarah's house just talking about things.
After that, we went to the library for books and on our way home, we stopped at a gas station and bought quarter mustaches from a vending machine. The one I got is currently on the face of Bella Swan on a poster in Sarah's room.
After we had to leave from Sarah's because she had a job interview, we went back to Megan's house and played some Rock Band.
After that, we went to see the movie Despicable Me, it was pretty cute and super cute.
After the movie, Megan and I went to Culvers for concrete mixers which were freaking tasty.
We then came home for a few hours.
At Seven, Megan had marching band practice, so Sarah and I went with Megan and watched. We mainly watched the guys on Guard because they were cute, and just super fun to watch.
Now that I am back at Megan's house, we are watching Hercules.
Adieu until tomorrow. :3

10 August 2010

Veda day ten: whoooooooot :3

Hello world. I am still in Nebraska.
Spent today mostly playing Rock Band and/or chilling here at Megan's house.
Tomorrow I get to hang out with Megan at her band practice.
Really nothing else happened today.
Sorry for these shoddy updates.

09 August 2010

BEDA DAY 9: Nebraska day two

I totally did not take a few minutes out of playing (and pwning) at rock band to update you guys on my current life.
Today we did not go to the zoo due to heat indexies hitting around 100+.
Instead we went to the mall. It was pretty fun. Megan, Sarah and I got friendship rings.
For breakfast today I had some kick ass blueberry pancakes.
Pretty much this trip has consisted of hanging out and doing little to nothing with Megan and her neighbor/friend Sarah.
It is a faaking blast :3.
I really don't feel like doing this post any longer, so good bye.

08 August 2010

Beda day eight: In nebraska

Hello blog reader how are things. I am currently in NE with a good friend. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo. Today we went to a park and also sat around and watched TV for sometime. I will update you more when i get time or get home.

Thank you for using Picture and Video Messaging by U.S. Cellular. See www.uscellular.com for info.

BEDA Day 1000: What a Fair day

Today I went to my good friend Hannah's county fair.
We spent most of the time doing cool things like watching her goats and such and listening to music off of her droid.

I am pretty excited for tomorrow. I have my mp3 player loaded with various songs that will keep me occupied during the ride to Nebraska.
I'm sorry this blog post is very much fail. But I am too tired to write anymore.
In the next week or so, by posts will be phoneular so please don't get too angry if they are around this length or shorter.

I really should sleep nao.
But I don't want to.
I'm bound to edit this post before the midnight hour.

06 August 2010

BEDA Day Six: The Last Night

Last night i went to a bonfire. On the way to the bonfire me and my ride got epically lost. We are pretty sure we went back in time at one point on the ride to the party. We saw dinosaurs and a cow boy. If only we weren't crazy.
It was pretty fun other than the fact it was super buggy. To begin this bonfire, there was an epic water fight and a pretty bad ass slip-n-slide.
After I was done being all wet, i changed into the dry clothing i brought while standing next to a friend's van, and I am pretty sure none of the guys noticed.
The most fun part had to of been the strike anywhere matches. I was the first person to successfully light one off of their own zipper; with the first match I had it only took me one strike to start it. I felt pretty special.
I let one of the guys light like 3 of the matches off of my zipper because he couldn't get them started on their own.
Once the fire actually started, the people, since there were around thirty, grouped into their own cliques which consisted of the band kids and the other kids.
I was part of the exclusive group of the other kids. I spent most of the night talking to my good friend Mitchell and his girl friend Sara.

One thing I know is I am going to miss spending time with some of my friends. :/

Tonight I am going out to eat with my family (mom, dad, sister, and grandparents). Kind of a celebration for my sister going back to college and me starting it.

Sunday morning, around super early in the morning I am going to leave for Nebraska to see one of my best friends, Megan. I have known her since before I started school and we have kept contact with each other over the years.

That's all I really care about.
Update you about my life sometime soon.

05 August 2010

BEDA Day 5: merf tired of beda

Hello again.
Today I bring you a half assed internet based update.
My last twenty four hours have been crazy.
At around seven yesterday I had friends over for my bonfire. It was entertaining, we stayed up until four talking about topics varying from video games to ufos.
While sitting on my epic hammock, about four of us saw a meteor, it was quite pretty but then we started talking about topics like aliens and ghosts and mass murderers which made us all paranoid to get up and go to the house for the bathroom.
Around two in the morning, we decided to watch Sweeny Todd. It was pretty fun. We finally got to sleep around four or five in the morning. We all slept decently until around 10:30. We finally got out of the love shack after about an hour of sitting around and had breakfast consisting of eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches. They were nommy. Two of my friends and I stayed in the house until around 3:30 watching television court shows, feeling half stoned.

Now, in about an hour, I'm going to another bonfire but I'll be home around midnight opposed to saying out until three or four in the morning.

Stay awesome internet :3

04 August 2010

Prop h8 overturned :3

VEDA DAY 4: Half assed list of things I need to get done before 7pm

Hello world. It is 3:36 in the morning. Instead of updating my twitter I thought I should tell you what I need to do before my bonfire tonight. 1. Clean the 'Love Shack'. The love shack is the garage next to my fire pit where important things, like food and pop are stored and I get to clean it out and maybe put a fan in there so it is not crazy hot. 2. Get some sleep. I realize that maybe this should be first priority on this list but I don't care. 3. Take a shower. This is something I am most likely going to do after doing the first point on this list. And obviously after the second one, but what is the point of having a list with only 1 point in it. Anyway. I'll blog again tomorrow or maybe later today, but don't count on it. Have a winsome day.

Thank you for using Picture and Video Messaging by U.S. Cellular. See www.uscellular.com for info.

03 August 2010

BEDA Day 3: Volunteering.

If any of you have watched the news, you'll be proud to know that i did not massacre children today.

So, what I did today.

I fell asleep at around three am after Skyping with a friend.
a few hours later, ten to be exact, i got up and went into town with my mom and my sister. We went to get passports. That was all find and dandy.
Afterwards we ate some fried calamari at home, sadly, the calamari had gone ewwie so instead we fed it to my cat.

This is the point where i tell you i did very little between the hours of 11am to 4pm, but what do you expect, i'm a lazy pile.

At four in the evening, i spent time helping hand out shirts at the back to school fair deal i explained in my last post.
I had a decent time other than the whole having to deal with people thing.
I spent most of the time talking to a guy who is quite cute who was helping me with the giving shirts out thing.
Sadly, this guy is a total loser when it comes to other people.

Tangent time.

Today was a pretty good day overall. I was forced to clean the basement though. It was a good thing mainly because I found a pair of sunglasses I had been missing for a few weeks.

Tomorrow as mentioned before I am having a bonfire. Expect either an early post or a 1/2 assed one from my phone.

The same with Thursday except instead of me having a bonfire, a friend is having fun.
I bet you are overjoyed by this knowledge.

This post should be longer.
I really don't' care.

Shirt Status: none
Drinking Status: pepsi

BEDA: DAY TWO: Upcoming Happenings.

Hello again internet.
As it is August the 2nd, i guess I shall blog again for BEDA.
I'm going to tell you about what's happening in my life in the next few weeks.
Because you obviously care.

Tomorrow I get to spend my four in the evening to seven being around people.
If you haven't learned this yet, i don't care for people.
And now, i guess you are wondering "Why the -insert cuss word of choice here- are you spending three hours around people, when you don't like them?"
The response is simple. My mom is making me volunteer my time at my school's (well, alma mater) Back to School Fair.
This is an annual even my school holds where the underprivileged people of my school district come for free school supplies and clothing to start the new year.
I've helped with this event since the summer of 8th grade.
I've hated it every year, too many people to deal with and pretend to be nice to.

Anyway, enough with my ranting.
On Wednesday, i am going to have multiple friends over for a bonfire.
These bonfires are super hardcore, and by hardcore I mean we play with sparklers and drink pop.

On Sunday, I am leaving around 7 in the AM for Nebraska to see one of my friends.
Her name is Megan, I have known her since I was in Kindergarten.
To get to Nebraska, i am riding up (well, west) with some of my parental's close friends. Their oldest daughter is going to school in Nebraska and I am allowed to hitch a ride.

That week, i will hopefully get you a blog daily. (otherwise I failed at BEDA-ing).
Worst case scenario I will update from my cellular device.

I'm sure i missed a lot of things I should have put in to this blog.
But right now i really don't care.
Don't judge me :3

Oh, it might storm for the next few days, look forward to crappy 1/2 assed (like mules) updates from my cellular device, they may come with pictures just for you =D

01 August 2010

BEDA Day 1: 26 days

Hello world.
It's been awhile.
I bet you are wondering, "Kelly, why is the title of this post 26 days?"
I have an answer for you.
In twenty six days, I move to Des Moines for college.

"So Kelly, how do you feel today?"
The best I felt all year
"Then why chose fear?"

Random Rent tangent anyone?

Anyway. Yes world. I am afraid.
I don't know why though. I seem decent enough at pretending to be a people person. I'm worried I'm going to end up being alone at college.. Not romantically, that really isn't my concern. I've noticed more and more that This summer, i have had some of the best times ever with my friends.
I'm truly going to miss them and I hope I can find someone fill that void of me missing my friends.
You guys, being those on the internet, will know if i found friends at College.

I don't know if i have told you this yet, but i'll be a nursing major when i start school.
I'm pretty well excited about it :3.

One of my friends, Hannah just convinced me to Blog Every Day in August (BEDA)
Hopefully, i'll stick to this, be it with full fledge blog or a pathetic post from my cellular device (in less than 1000 characters, picture messages ftw).

Lately, it's been super hot here in Iowa.
Well, it varies on the day.
A better statement would be I am very hot right now.
I really should turn on a fan, but complaining to the internet is easier.
I have not much else to say.
Type at you tomorrow :3

24 July 2010

Update in 1000 characters

Finally heading home from SD. Spent the week at a family friend's lake house. While here, I did a lot of nothing, but with that nothing came converstation. One thing I love it about here is all the stories Chuck and Audrey have, they have been my unofficial grandparents for my entire life and I don't think I have heard one story twice when with them. One thing I am happy about leaving is that I no longer have to share a room with my sister. Her and I tend not to get along when with each other for an extended period of time, extended period being more than a hour. Right now we are heading out to a powwow in some town, and then we will head towards flooded Ia. Apparentally the water in Mantown is worse then it has been in past years, but thankfully our basement didn't flood as that is where my room is and I, being the foolish child I am, have clothing and other things on the floor. I am
ready to get home and hangout with friends before I leave for college in 36 days. Proper post to come.

Thank you for using Picture and Video Messaging by U.S. Cellular. See www.uscellular.com for info.

23 July 2010

Having a blast in SD. Met Mater and Lightning McQueen today. Real blog post to come tomorrow or so.

My trip to TN and such

This post is going to begin with random journal entries i wrote on the ride to TN, please bear with me.

13 July 4:39am
After trying to sleep for around two hours I have given up.
We are currently at a Walmart in.. well i'm not quite sure of that detail. It is apparent we are looking for someone, but I want to know who.. and where they are

Currently, i have realized how dirty my hands are, i really need to wash them, i can't wait until breakfast.

I am amazed by how not loud the other people on this bus have been. well, until now.. they seem to be trying to wake friends, well, peers.
The mystery people (persons?) seem to of arrived. i am so ready for this trip to continue.

Bus Quote
Dumbledore is nothing compared to Rumbeldore.

5:34 am
You now what?
I feel pretty awesome for being up for over 21 hours.
I have pretty much concluded I am not going to sleep until tonight, when ever that is going to be.

I made a friend :)
I knew wearing my Rent shirt would help me with meeting people.
The kid worked on a production of rent. I am UBER jealous.

We are apparently still in Iowa, i'm not sure where though.
Bettendorf.
- Who am I rooming what?
I am currently taking a break from reading the Bermudez Triangle by Maureen Johnson as i knowi I will end up finishing it if i keep reading it at the rate I am.

I NEED CAFFEINE!

9:04 am
Other than a 20ish minute nape I have taken i am running on zero sleep right now from the last 24 hours.

I am currently charging my MP3 with my computer to ensure more music listening.

I stopped reading from awhile as TBT has reached a crappy part, my favourite minor character has been ridded of.

I am currently in the area of the Farm Land Rest area in IL.

I have no idea how much longer this trip is going to take. I cannot wait until I get to a hotel and am able to sleep.

I wish people here actually talked about things instead of reading/sleeping. I am terribly bored right now.

I hope those random rants from early morning lack of sleeping on the bus ride there help you understand how my trip to TN went.

Less than an hour after we got to the hotel, the group I was with went to the old spaghetti factory. The food there, and the people, were AMAZING.

The next day we got up early to help with some flood relief.
This meant us being in a chuck of woods/farmland dragging trash out.
It was hot, sticky and unfun.

That night, It was the opening ceremonies.

I'm going to stop giving you a play by play.

I am home now. I am kind of exhausted, leaving for SD tomorrow.
We're leaving at 6 friggen AM >.< k

12:30 Ramblings

Hello internet.
I am leaving in two hours.
I am SUPER excited.
I am currently playing Spinacles on Neopets.
Please don't judge me.
I have been up since 8am.
I got to bed around 4:30am.
I plan on sleeping the second I get onto the bus to TN.
I really need to brush my teeth, but my tooth brush is packed, thank god for gum.
I'll update you some more when I get to TN.
Mucho Love =D

Rent, the coming two weeks, and a link

Last night I went to Theatre Cedar Rapid's performance of Rent.
I have 3 words for it.
Oh My God.
Almost everything was perfect. At times, the band drowned out the singing, but since I know the play so well, it didn't really bug me.
There were two points that almost brought me to tears.
During the First act, during the song Will I, the harmonies were amazing you could just feel the emotion.
I started to tear up during Your Eyes. The Aaron Brewer's (Roger's) voice was amazing both raw and full of emotion.
Other than the band, one thing irked me off, but only for a little bit. During the Life Support scene, the names of the members were changed. In my mind I felt that as a terrible thing as the people in the original transcript (like Pam and Gordon) were friends of Johnathan Larson who had passed. Right after that scene, I remembered reading the Director's Note. The director had friends who had died or been effected by AIDS, each of their names, the same ones used during the Life Support Scene, were mentioned at the end of the directors note which i found very touching.
The end of the musical was amazing as well, i am not talking about the final scene, but instead the curtain call where the entire audience stood and clapped and/or sang along to Seasons of Love. It was the perfect ending to an awesome night.
In the words of Johnathan Larson (may he rest in peace).
No day but today.

Now I am going to shift subjects.
Yes, that was my transition, I am no good at writing them.
Tomorow, being Monday is my county fair -insert (lack) of enthusiasm here-. Since I am going to FBLA Nationals on Tuesday morning, all I get to participate in is presenting my photography stuff, which i could care less about.

Tuesday at 2:45 I am going to be leaving the state and heading south to Nashville, TN. Other than the fact that I will be riding on a bus all the way there and all the way back, i am sure i will have an amazing time. I am going there for Future Business Leaders of America National Conference.
I intend on having an AMAZING time. I don't believe I am going to have to present anything, so the trip shall be very stress free.
As I am the only person from my school going, i am going to tag along with one of my friend's schools. With them I will be going to Nashville Shores (a waterpark?), to an iMax, and to a go kart place.

The day after I arrive home from Nashville I am going on yet another trip, this time to South Dakota. I am going there with my mom and my sister. We are going to visit some of my parent's close friends Chuck and Audrey. Chuck and Audrey have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

One thing you should know about me is I love random blogs.
Forgotten Bookmarks is a blog ran by a guy who works at a book store. I find it pretty neat.

Summer =D

I am amazed I haven't started a blog until now. This entire summer, I have been bored out of my mind. If i were to put this into an infograph, doing nothing (which implies sitting behind my computer and/or watching TV) would be 90% of the fancy pie chart i am much to lazy to make.
I bet you are wondering (or maybe you aren't) "So, Kelly, what have you done with the other 10% of your summer?" That ten percent is when i actually do stuff with people. This doing stuff means either getting coffee, hanging out at the parks, or having bonfires.
Now to the topic of bonfires (don't worry, i don't understand the logic of this post either). At my homes, bonfire are pretty much just that, a group of my friends head towards my house where we burn wood in a fire pit. We talk a lot about nonsense and we drink pop and play with sparklers. No illegal substances to speak of.

I have a fun packed weekend. Tomorrow, which is Friday, I am having friends over to my house for a bonfire. I really don't have to go into further detail about that as I assume if you are still reading this post, you have read the bonfire part of it.
I cannot wait for Saturday. I am going to go to see a production of rent put on by Theater Cedar Rapids. If you don't know me, one thing you should know is I am OBSESSED with Rent. I own the final Broadway production and the regular movie on DVD. I have seen Rent around 100 times. And, on Saturday I am going to see it live for the first time, i hope my brain implodes from the awesome.

How does one properly conclude a blog post?

Hello Internetz

-insert overly dramatic sigh here-
Hello.
Welcome to my blog.
Now that my highly uneventful summer is coming close to an end, I'm starting a blog to give people insight into my soon to be eventful life.
If you, random internet user, decide to follow my blog, you'll follow me in my adventures to Tennessee, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Once my summer comes to an end, around August 27th, you will be part of a new chapter of my life, being college. Does that excite you at all internet?
If you cannot wait for my post which I hope to happen around daily (which means 3-4 times a week in Kelly Speak) you are allowed to follow me on twitter @eille_k, I update an excessive amount and may expand upon some of my tweets on here.
If you are still reading this post, I applaud you, but I must bid you farewell before I bore you to death.
Type at you soon internetzz =]
